Tru by Hilton Lighting
Tru by Hilton is a hotel brand created to appeal to a broad range of travelers. Remington Lighting was invited by Hilton to participate in the development of tru lighting products. Remington has been a proven brand partner since tru’s inception in 2016. The design ethos of the Tru brand is “minimal yet meaningful.” It’s simplified, spirited, and grounded in value. These are the pillars of the Tru brand.
At the heart of each Tru hotel is something called The Hive, a nearly 3,000-square-foot public space that has areas for gaming, working, eating, and hanging out. For customers’ convenience, there is also a fitness center. The guest rooms in the hotel are usually either 231 or 280-square-feet with specific design requirements for flooring, bed style, and lighting fixtures. Rooms have a full-size mirror by the entry door, and each mirror has a light above it for customer convenience.
The hotel’s brand program has requirements for public space lighting and guestroom lighting. There is a table lamp by the desk or armchair. There are lamps on each side of the bed in rooms with one bed. In rooms with two beds, there is a wall-mounted lamp on one side of each bed and a joint fixture with separate on/off switches in the area between the beds.
As part of our brand partner program, Remington manufactures several lamps approved for use in Tru by Hilton hotels. Among our options are:
- Wall lamps: We manufacture six wall lamps that are approved by Tru. Our wall lamp, style 13303.02, is designed for use over the full-length mirror near the entry to each room. The remaining styles are ideal for use by the beds in each guest room, and there is another sconce specified for the employee restrooms and public restrooms in the public areas.
- Floor lamps: We make one floor lamp, style 13906.02, that is meant to be positioned by the window wall in a guest room.
- Table lamps: We manufacture two table lamps that have been approved for use in Tru by Hilton hotel guest rooms. The first, style 13904.02, is made of sleek metal and has one lightbulb. The second, style 13909.02, has two lightbulbs and would be appropriate for use in guest rooms with two beds.
- Ceiling fixtures: Remington makes nine ceiling fixtures that are approved for use in Tru by Hilton hotels. Styles 13312.02 and 13313.02 are both flush-mount ring-shaped lamps that use an LED array. Styles 13304.02 and 13304.03 are pendant lamps with powder-coated metal shades. Both lamps use E26 bulbs.
